Dr. Keith True, DVM

Dr. True chose a career in veterinary medicine because of his love for animals, and a desire to pursue the many entrepreneurial opportunities the field offers. After graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, Dr. True became a partner at three hospitals in the Chicagoland area. During that time, he developed expertise in orthopedic surgery and discovered a love for building successful businesses, including the foundational work of developing strong, cohesive teams. His interest in business led Dr. True to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration through the University of Illinois, completing his studies in 2023.

True Vet Potential unites Dr. True’s love for both veterinary medicine and business development. True Vet Potential also picks up where veterinarian school left off by providing the training and coaching veterinarians need to achieve success through ownership and partnership. Through True Vet’s courses and consulting services, veterinarians gain highly critical business insights and practical knowledge based on real-life experience geared to help veterinarians enjoy long-term success in the field they love. By helping individuals, True Vet Potential advances a secondary goal of bringing about changes in the field of veterinary medicine that will stop the exodus of professionals and create a culture where veterinarians can thrive.
