To start and own a general small animal veterinary clinic along with my business partner who is also a veterinarian. We hope grow and expand into potentially a second practice.
I enjoy running, swimming, walking with my goldendoodle, exploring new restaurants with friends and my husband. Every year I challenge myself physically through either a swim race, run race and triathlons.
I have worked as a veterinarian for 7 years throughout 3 different practices both as walk-in appointment style with emergency surgeries and scheduled appointments with as many as 6 veterinarians and now in a practice where I am the only full time veterinarian. I was offered a medical director position in a veterinary clinic that was using paper records with 4 veterinarians leaving meaning I was a part of a large shift in both modernization of the vet clinic through electronic records, staff training and development, and updating the cost structure and schedule.
