My goal is to own and operate a veterinary hospital that practices exceptional medicine, creates an inclusive environment for pet parents, and an environment of growth and mental wellness for staff. Ultimately, we have an amazing opportunity to make what we do fun and enjoyable for everyone!

I grew up as an army brat, which established my ability to talk to a wall. I love interacting with owners, and getting to know them as people. This has allowed me to gain trust and communication as it pertains to their pet care. I am an absolute nerd when it comes to all things medicine, it’s always a puzzle for me.  However, I haven’t lost my love of booping and squishing tiny little puppy noses. I truly love what I do, who I meet, and helping those around me grow.
My skill set is very broad and includes ability to communicate all varieties of diseases, treatment, and prognosis well.  These are listings of my current responsibilities and abilities:
  • Diagnostics- diagnosis of internal diseases, including endocrine, diabetes, thyroid, neoplasia, renal , hepatic, cardiac, pulmonary, autoimmune, gastrointestinal, and urinary diseases. I can utilizes ultrasound for both abdominal and cardiac disease, with ability to perform basic echocardiogram.
  • Special interest in dermatology and ability to identify and diagnose various allergies and underlying etiology.
  • Advanced dentistry with ability to perform radiology, extractions, vital pulpectomy, root canals, fracture repairs, and treatment of resorption lesions.
  • Proficient in nasal, oral, upper and lower GI scoping, Otiscopic exams, and biopsies via scope.
  • Surgical skills include basic surgeries such as spays and neuters, foreign body, splenectomy, cystotomy, nephrectomy, biopsies, laser declaw with proper education, mass removals, amputations, nasal and soft palate resections, ear hematomas, and enucleations.
  • Capable of working on most pocket pets, with exception of reptiles, snakes, and birds.
  • Proficient in diagnosis of neoplasia, and capable of developing and executing chemotherapy protocols.
  • Radiographic interpretation of thoracic, abdominal, and orthopedic diseases.
  • Special interest in pain management, especially with local anesthesia and chronic pain management.
  • Experience as an ER veterinarian for the last 3 years.
Bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry from University of Alabama in Huntsville Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University Current USDA license, DEA, and CE hours.

Extended education in ultrasound.
