Sara Gladstein Joins DVMmatch to Support Veterinary Practice Transitions Across Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

DVMmatch is proud to welcome Sara Gladstein to its growing network of Professionals. Sara will serve veterinarians across Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Tennessee. She brings more than 20 years of animal health experience, entrepreneurial perspective, and a genuine commitment to advocacy.

A Career Built on Connection and Trust

Sara’s background spans some of the most respected names in veterinary medicine. She held business development roles with CareVet, a St. Louis-based veterinary practice management group, and Patterson Animal Health. Most recently, she joined Trupanion after obtaining her insurance license. In that role, she focused on building stronger relationships between veterinary teams and pet owners. Throughout her career, colleagues and clients have known Sara as a connector, a problem solver, and a trusted voice.

An Entrepreneur Who Understands What Veterinarians Have Built

What sets Sara apart is her lived experience as a business owner. She has personally started, operated, and transitioned family businesses. As a result, she brings that perspective directly to the veterinarians she partners with at DVMmatch.

“What I’ve learned working with veterinarians is this: they are some of the most honest, genuine, and hardworking professionals out there,” Sara says. “They don’t need more noise. They need trusted partners who can provide clear guidance and help them confidently navigate the business side of veterinary medicine.”

A Full-Circle Moment

For Sara, joining DVMmatch is a return to her roots as an advocate and single-source resource for veterinarians. These are professionals facing one of the most significant decisions of their careers.

“Your hard work, your team, and your community are real, tangible, and they deserve to be valued that way,” Sara says. “Finding the right partner and protecting what you’ve built isn’t just a transaction. It’s about legacy and creating long-term family wealth, and that’s something I care deeply about getting right together.”

How DVMmatch Professionals Support Veterinary Practice Transitions

DVMmatch Professionals like Sara operate within a proven framework built around the Trusted Transition Process. This step-by-step approach begins with a deep conversation about a veterinarian’s goals. From there, it guides them through every stage of the transition. The platform also provides robust technology, independent third-party business valuations, and strong relationships with nationally recognized CPA firms and business advisors who specialize in veterinary hospitals. Importantly, DVMmatch operates with no dual representation. Its Professionals represent sellers only, always with the client’s best interests at the center.

Service Beyond the Profession

Sara’s commitment extends well beyond her professional work. She is a founding board member and current secretary/treasurer of Dogs For Our Brave, a national 501(c)(3) organization that trains rescue dogs to serve veterans across the country. She counts that work among the most rewarding experiences of her life. Sara lives in Missouri with her wife Jessica, their children Landon and Harrison, and their two mini Golden Doodles, Leo and Scotty.
